PCBA Fixture #2 Single-Sided Press-Off (Four-Piece Set of Reflow Soldering Press Blocks)
Standard #2 Fixture Press-Off Set
I. Complete Set Components (4 Pieces)
Black L-Shaped High-Temperature Resistant Press Block (#2 Press-Off Main Body)
Material: PPS / Bakelite / Anti-static Nylon, Temperature Resistance 280~320℃, Suitable for Wave Soldering and Reflow Soldering Fixtures
Function: Presses down on the edge of the PCB board on one side, limiting and preventing the board from floating or shifting during reflow. The contact end is rounded to prevent scratching the PCB copper foil.
Stainless Steel Compression Spring
Provides elastic preload, buffers thermal expansion and contraction deformation, and allows for fine adjustment of clamping pressure to prevent cracking of thin boards.
Counterhead Fixing Screw (Mostly M4 Stainless Steel)
Passes through the press block, spring, and sleeve, locking the entire set of press-offs onto the fixture base plate.
Stepped Internal Threaded Sleeve (Copper Sleeve / (Spacer Post)
Limiting support, controlling the spring compression stroke, and also serving as a screw thread base to prevent stripping of the board thread.
II. Core Applications (PCBA Production Process)
Wave Soldering Fixture: Fixes the bare PCB board to prevent it from warping due to heat during soldering and components from floating and falling off. Generally placed at the four corners and the middle of the long side of the PCB.
Reflow Soldering Carrier: Thin FPC/PCB anti-floating plate, elastic clamping to avoid damage to the circuitry from hard pressure.
Functional Test Fixture: Elastically clamps the PCBA to ensure stable contact between the probe and the solder joint, compatible with different board thickness tolerances.
Separation/Assembly Fixture: Temporarily elastically positions the PCB, easy to pick up and put down, no need for manual screw tightening.
III. Structural Assembly Principle
Press the sleeve into the pre-embedded hole in the synthetic stone/bakelite base plate of the fixture;
The screw passes through the sleeve from the bottom of the base plate upwards;
The spring and L-shaped pressure block are inserted in sequence;
Tightening the screw compresses the spring, and the pressure block is pressed downwards by the spring force. PCB; Simply push the clamp upwards to release and place the board; it will automatically spring back and tighten upon release.
IV. Selection and Material Considerations
Clamp: Anti-static type is preferred for test fixtures; ordinary high-temperature resistant type is used for solder baths;
Springs/Screws/Sleeves: 304 stainless steel, resistant to solder dross corrosion, rust-free at high temperatures;
Specification: #2 small clamp is suitable for 0.4~1.6mm standard PCBs; #4/#6 extended types are also available for thicker boards and areas with large components.
V. Bulk Stocking Instructions
The second image shows a complete package of bulk materials:
Top left bag: Bulk black L-shaped clamp body
Bottom left bag: Matching stainless steel compression spring
Top right bag: Stepped internal thread copper sleeve
Bottom right bag: M4 stainless steel fixing screw
Suitable for fixture factories and SMT production lines for bulk mold making of carriers.
