When this feeder cuts a lead wire, it uses a part called “a body clamp” to hold a component. The body clamp consists of two parts: fixed part and movable part. Two types of fixed partsare provided, and you can use either one depending on the component size by adjusting itsposition. You have to adjust the adjustment bracket position of the movable part of the bodyclamp to support various types of components. (1) Fix the body clamp fixed part appropriate for the width of a component with screws asshown in the figure below. (2)Loosen the screws that fix the body clamp adjustment bracket, and then slide it toward the side of the feeder to fix it. (3)Set a tape (see Section 3.1). (4) Loosen the screws that fix the body clamp adjustment bracket, and then tighten thesescrews at a position where the movable part of the body clamp cannot interfere with thecomponent. (5)Clamp the component, and then check its pick-up condition. -When the component does not lean in any direction: you have finished adjustments atthis point. -When the component leans somehow: you have to make fine adjustments of the bodyclamp position
