Ion wind rods are widely used in many electronic industries. They are used in
large-scale and ultra-large-scale integrated circuit clean workshops to prevent
static electricity generated by human movement in the workshop. At the same time,
ion wind rods are sometimes necessary to be worn out during use. So we need to regularly
maintain and service the ion wind rods. So how can we maintain and service the ion
wind rods well?
In industrial production, due to the friction, peeling, extrusion, induction, etc.
between objects, the surface area of objects has charges of different properties.
When this charge accumulates to a certain extent, industrial products will produce
static adsorption and discharge. The accumulation and discharge of static charge will
have a great impact and damage on industrial production. The function of the ion wind
rod is to use air ionization to generate a large number of positive and negative
charges, and blow out the positive and negative charges with dry and clean compressed
air. Form a positive and negative charge airflow to neutralize the charge on the
surface of the object. When the surface of the object is negatively charged, it will
attract the positive charge in the airflow, and when the surface of the object is
positively charged, it will attract the negative charge in the current, so that the
static electricity on the surface of the object is neutralized, achieving the purpose
of eliminating static electricity. If there is dust on the surface of the discharge
needle of the ion wind rod, it will hinder the discharge needle of the ion wind rod
from ionizing the air into positive and negative charges. The load will increase after
long-term operation, thereby generating a certain amount of heat, which will reduce
the performance of the plastic parts and cause embrittlement.
How to maintain:

  1. When using the ion wind stick, if dust or debris accumulates on the needle tip,
    it must be cleaned in time.
  2. Use an electrostatic brush or dust-free cloth dipped in anhydrous industrial
    alcohol to gently remove dust from the outer shell of the ion wind stick. Clean it
    every three days.

  1. The working input power of the power box must be connected to a reliable ground terminal at
    the same time.
  2. The grounding wire of the ion wind rod must be reliably connected to the ground terminal of
    the power box to ensure the safety of the user.
